Pasadena City Hall at Night

This was my first attempt at painting a
night subject in watercolor, which is quite
difficult. When you place the paint onto paper,
it tends to appear really dark, but fades as it dries.
Repeated applications are necessary to achieve
a dark, nighttime look.
